Overcoming Self-Blocking Through Unconscious Fears

Self-blocking occurs when we unconsciously hinder our own goals or needs.

Deep-seated fears are often at the root of this. These can be identified and overcome through self-reflection. Here are some steps to help you:

  1. Keep a Journal: Write down your fears, doubts, and the emotions associated with them to access your subconscious.

  2. Regular Self-Reflection: Establish a daily routine, such as a short evening meditation, to observe your feelings and behavior patterns.

  3. Identify Recurring Patterns: Pay attention to recurring thoughts and beliefs that block you – write them down!

  4. Observe Emotional Reactions: In emotional moments, you may notice where you react insecurely or anxiously. These reactions provide important clues.

  5. Acceptance and Honesty: Be honest with yourself and accept your fears. Only then can you begin to overcome them.

  6. Be Patient with Yourself: Personal growth takes time. Be kind and patient with your process.

By following these steps, you can gradually recognize and dissolve your fears.

"Looking forward, we see that it is the youth of today who hold the key to tomorrow.

And we can help unlock it."

- Tamzin Merchant
