From big cities to remote areas and islands...

In most cases, it’s already clear which continent or country has been chosen for emigration, at least in terms of lifestyle and climate. If you’re torn between 1-3 countries, there are coaching methods at Swing Up Coaching to help you gain more clarity and make your decision.

It’s important not to make such a decision in haste. Instead, take your current life situation (whether you’re single, in a relationship, have children, elderly parents, pets, financial situation, health, career, etc.) into account during your planning to find the best place for your new chapter.

According to the portal expat.com, in 2024, people from English-speaking countries mostly emigrated to the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, and the UAE. Americans were more likely to move to Costa Rica, Mexico, Portugal, or Spain. Europeans mostly stayed within the EU, migrating to Portugal, Spain, and Greece, or for a more distant adventure, to Costa Rica, Thailand, or Morocco. Additionally, according to the Swiss Overseas Statistics (2023), around 30,000 Swiss emigrate annually, mostly to France, Germany, Italy, or to the USA, Argentina, Brazil, or Israel.

It always depends on the expat profile. It’s crucial not to rush such a decision but to consider all aspects of your current life situation during the planning phase, ensuring you find the most suitable place for this significant step. This shouldn’t be a prolonged vacation, but your new home.

If you’re still unsure between 1-3 countries, Swing Up Coaching offers specific methods to help you gain better clarity, so you can fully pursue your vision from that point forward!
